| This new point list is an attempt to cover a wide variety of species. No one list could include every known freshwater species known to exist. Most species listed have been spawned. Some unspawned species have been included as incentive to attemp them. |

| Points |
Points are recorded when offspring are auctioned at our monthly meetings and a BAP Report Form has been filled out and submitted to the BAP Committee. |
| Basic Points |
5 points for the inital spawn of a species
3 points for a spawn of a different variety that has been previously recorded
5 points for second generation spawn of a previously recorded species, plus 5 bonus points
1 point for subsequent spawns of previously recorded species. |

|
| Level of Difficulty |
Level 1: Easily spawned species
Level 2: Species that require good consistant aquarium maintenance, etc.
Level 3: More difficult species
Level 4: These are problem species or fish that are more difficult to obtain. |

| Total Points |
The total points from a bag of fish is calculated by multiplying the basic points times the level of difficulty. For example:
Initial spawn of a level 2 fish is 10 points
Level 2 (2) x initial spawn (5) = 10 points |
