Gorgeous Achilles Tang (Acanthurus achilles) for $225
A beautiful Achilles Tang approximately 3-3/4" long. In great health, well acclimated to tank life, eats all kinds of food, loves seaweed, never had any diseases. Selling just because he is getting big for my tank. He probably needs a bigger tank to swim. One of the most beautiful saltwater fish, rare to find in local fish stores. Was bought from Diver's Den on Live Aquaria.
The Achilles Tang, also known as the Red-tailed Surgeon, or Achilles Surgeonfish, is very dark brown to purple. It has bright highlights of white and orange around the dorsal, caudal, and anal fins. A white marking is also present on the gill covers and a striking orange teardrop is found near the caudal fin. The juveniles of this species have an orange marking by the tail in the shape of a streak instead of being teardrop in shape. It could be aggressive towards other Tangs and Surgeonfish, but peaceful with other fish.
Serious inquiries please. Getting him out of the tank won't be easy without taking all the rocks out. I am right off of I-95 exist 11A in Canton, MA
