Whilst transferring my last pair of Bluefin Killis from their 5 gal to my community 55gal the male got a crazy bug and jumped down the sink drain! About 5 min, half a heart attack, and a handful of tools later, he was released in a torrent of dirty water and muck from the gunk trap, slightly rinsed, and speedily dumped into the big tank. 8 hrs later he seems to still be doing fine!

Yay for the resilience of wild fish!

my spottail shiner fry (which I dip netted out of the charles) got sucked up into my filter. I was really worried. But the aquaclear was good. It has a small chamber under the media basket so the fish survived in there. I had to take them all out with a turkey baster.
