well i wanted to add some color to my nano tank.. i got a trio of these killies at petsmart..

does anyone have the real name of this fish? i tried to cross reference it but had very little success..

and if anyone has kept them, how difficult are they to breed? this is a new species for me , as i have never kept any

variety previously.

Aplocheilus lineatus is the scientific name.

The "golden wonder" is a strain that was bred for its color. I like the wild colors better. The wild ones look like this:

(Male on top, female on bottom)
