Has anyone grown this plant?

I got it at Ned's about two months ago, and Dan said Karen brought it in and said it was easy.

I've tried to do research, and it is categorized with either Anubias or Crypts. It seems its related to the Crypts, but in aquascaping contests, its classified with Anubias for growth. Which one is it more similar to in requirements?

I just took a guess and figured if its classified like anubias in planted tank contests, its growth habits must be more like anubias. So......I planted it with the rhizome exposed, since the rhizome looked more like an anubias type than a crypt type. Several leaves died off (not surprising) and one new one is growing. Its very slow, and the Only-One-Leaf status is making me nervous. Am I just being too impatient with this plant?

Does anyone else grow this plant? Any suggestions?
Thanks!
-Jane
