Hi. I'm new to this list, and it looks great!

I am establishing a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium and I am wondering if anyone has any clippings of underwater plants they would be willing to give or sell to me to root. A very nice man referred me to this list... Right now I am establishing a high light plant only tank, and will eventually be moving some to a tank with fish and such...

Thanks for any help you can give me,

Ali

Hi Ali,
Welcome to the list !

Where are you from ?

There are lots of plants at the auction\meeting each month, so I suspect you'll be able to find lots of sources, either locally or at the next meeting.

Depending on your experience, a lot of funny words :) Many plants and fish are discussed by their scientific names. Don't be fooled. Many of the members don't know all the names, or even how to pronounce them. Ok well a lot of them might know.. but I for one don't! :)

At the auction there are usually quite a selection of plants as well as fish, and other misc goods. I think lately there has been a bit more plants then fish.
