I have had a common pleco for about six years and he or she has just become too large for my tank. He/she is about 10" now. Eats well, basically ignores other fish...never been aggressive. Very healthy fish.

I feel sorry :( for him/her so I think a larger tank would be better, something 50 gallons or up maybe. But I'm not an expert on this stuff--you all would know better than me how much room a pleco that big needs.

I also have a large shelter that he/she spends a lot of time in during the day so I would throw that in too.

Not looking to sell the fish--just want to make sure it would go to a good home.

email me at cwiz24@hotmail.com if you are interested. I'm on the South Shore.
