These fish were listed in the September BAS newsletter as being at Neds Fish Factory. I went and checked them out. I had never seen them before. If it wasn't for the gonopodium on the males I would have mistaken them for tetras. They are really cool little fish. I just had to have some, so I bought a trio ( M/F/F ), brought them home, and put them in a 10 gallon. They tend to school together and are a little shy. When you feed them they go crazy. I've only had them a short while and I already found fry in the tank. Neither female looked very heavy when I bought them though and neither looks lighter now. The blue eyes show up really good when looking straight on or a little down at the fish. Ned had them in a top tank which kind of hid the eyes to passer by. Lucky me. He might have sold out before I got there.
