President's Message November 2024

Thanks to all who came out to our October auction--it was a resounding success! In particular, I wanted to share a big thanks to our sponsors Florida Aquatic Nurseries, Uncle Ned's Fish Factory, Ken's Fish, API Fish Care, and Danner. Consider supporting these vendors if you can--in particular Ned and Ken, who run local small businesses and are hobbyists themselves (and be on the lookout for Florida Aquatic Nurseries plant tags in all of your local fish stores).

We're revamping our mailing list this month and starting to track memberships and our monthly emails via the BAS website. You can still submit a membership application in person at a BAS meeting, but can now join the BAS and manage your email subscription via our site.

Looking forward to seeing you at our November meeting, which will be focused on raising fry.

We are always on the lookout for suggestions from members on topics they would like to see discussed at future meetings--if you have ideas (or would like to present), please don't hesitate to reach out!
